The Blackheart Market is Scotland’s top touring market for horror, goth, and alternative fans. We are bringing the dark side to the Academy of Sport and Wellbeing in Perth.
Mainstream high streets are boring. Therefore, we created a space for the alternative community to shop and meet. This event is a major highlight in the What’s On Perth calendar. It is completely free to attend, making it a perfect day out.
What to expect at the market:
First, Dark Art: Meet independent artists. Buy horror prints, stickers, and original canvases.
Next, Curiosities: Shop for the weird and wonderful. We host the best traders for taxidermy, wet specimens, and animal bones.
Also, Fashion: Upgrade your wardrobe. You will find goth clothing, metal band patches, and alternative jewellery.
Finally, Collectibles: Hunt for rare items. Traders sell horror movie props, retro toys, and crystals.
The Blackheart Market is for everyone. General entry is Completely Free. You do not need a ticket. Just turn up and enjoy the day!

Venue: Academy of Sport and Wellbeing (ASW)
The ASW is a modern events space located at the UHI Perth campus. It is bright, spacious, and fully indoors. The venue is flat and fully accessible for wheelchairs.
Getting Here:
By Bus: Buses run regularly from Perth City Centre up to the Crieff Road campus.
By Train:Perth Train Station links to Dundee, Stirling, and Glasgow. From the station, you can take a short bus or taxi ride to the venue.
Parking: Driving to the event? The campus has a large car park available for visitors. (Sat Nav: PH1 2NX).
