Ayr Comic Con 2026: The Three-Venue Takeover
Ayr Comic Con is back. BGCP is officially bringing the massive Ayr Comic Con back to the coast on Saturday, 11th July 2026. After the incredible turnout at our last multi-venue shows, we are taking over the town centre yet again for our biggest and most ambitious summer event so far.
Basically, we are transforming three Ayr High street Hubs into a massive, interconnected geek paradise for the day. So, whether you’re a die-hard collector hunting for rare merchandise, a parent looking for the ultimate family day out this summer, or a fan wanting to meet iconic heroes, this is a premier experience you cannot afford to miss.
One Massive Event, Three Incredible Venues
If you are looking for exciting things to do in Ayrshire this July, our unique three-venue setup has something for everyone. In fact, the event unlocks a whole day of activities spread across the heart of the town.
- The Ultimate Geek Market (Ayr Town Hall): Browse dozens of specialist traders offering comic books, action figures, Pokémon cards, mystery boxes, and custom geeky merchandise.
- Free-to-Play Arcade & Gaming Zone (The Grain Exchange): No coins required. You can enjoy unlimited play on our retro arcade machines and modern consoles all day right in the heart of High Street.
- Workshops (The Cutty Sark Centre): Drop in on workshops taking place on the day for a variety of ages
- Cosplay Welcome: Naturally, we want to see your incredible creativity. So, suit up in your best outfits and join the local Scottish cosplay community on the streets of Ayr.
Your Ayr Comic Con Event Details
Because the event is spread across the town centre, it is incredibly easy to plan a full summer day out around your visit.
- Date: Saturday, 11th July 2026
- Venues: Ayr Town Hall, The Grain Exchange, and The Cutty Sark Centre (Ayr, KA7)
- Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Cost: Completely free entry across all locations.
Best of all, you can access all three locations completely free throughout the day. Instead of staying stuck in one room, you can explore the town, grab a bite to eat at a local café, and pop between the zones at your own pace.
How to Get Here
Fortunately, the venues are highly accessible for fans traveling from all across Ayrshire, Glasgow, and the South West. For example, Ayr Town Hall is just a short walk from the main Ayr train station and local bus routes. Meanwhile, plenty of parking is available throughout the town centre if you prefer to drive down.
Are you ready for the return of Ayr Comic Con? Then gather your squad, plan your cosplays, and head down to the High Street
