Inverness Comic Con 2024 was a legendary day for the geek community in the North. On August 10th, 2024, Inverness, Scotland transformed into a vibrant world of superheroes and sci-fi. Located at the heart of Bught Park, the Inverness Leisure Centre hosted one of our most successful events in the Highlands. Running from 10 am until 4 pm, the convention offered a mix of free and ticketed entry, drawing in hundreds of families searching for things to do in Inverness. It was a day of heroes, villains, and creativity that put Inverness firmly on the map for fans across the country. Relive the Highlands Comic Con Experience in Inverness The 2024 outing remains a major highlight for fans across Scotland, Inverness, and the wider region. Hosting the event at the Inverness Leisure Centre allowed us to bring the very best traders, artists, and props to the Highlands. While many conventions only visit the central belt, BGCP makes it a mission to bring the Highlands Comic Con experience to the local community in Inverness, Scotland. As guests entered the hall, they found a centre packed with creative energy. We met many dedicated collectors from across the Highlands and saw incredible costumes that proved Inverness has some of the best cosplayers in Scotland. On May 3rd, 2025, the became the heart of the geek community in Renfrewshire. This popular venue sits right in the centre of Paisley. Specifically, the event ran from 10 am until 4 pm and was entirely free for the public. Consequently, thousands of fans looking for things to do in Paisley joined us for a day of heroes and villains. While the 2025 show was a huge hit, we are already preparing for an even bigger return. RELIVE THE LAGOON LEISURE CENTRE EXPERIENCE The Lagoon is one of our favourite venues in Scotland. Furthermore, hosting a free event there allows us to welcome everyone from across the town. We designed the day specifically to offer a fun and high-energy atmosphere for families. While many larger conventions charge for entry, we keep this event accessible to ensure all Paisley town centre events fans can join the party. As fans entered the bustling hall, they found a treasure trove of unique items. We saw incredible costumes and met many dedicated collectors from all over Renfrewshire. Moreover, the atmosphere was full of laughter and excitement from start to finish. Because we focus on community, this event let fans discover rare collectibles and local art in a friendly environment. TRADERS, COLLECTIBLES, AND MOVIE PROPS In this Paisley Comic Con guide, we want to highlight the amazing range of traders. We pick every vendor carefully to ensure you find the best merchandise in the West of Scotland. On June 7th, 2025, the became a vibrant hub for the geek community in South West Scotland. Specifically, the event ran from 10 am until 4 pm and was entirely free for the public to enjoy. Consequently, hundreds of families looking for things to do in Dumfries joined us for a day filled with laughter and creativity. IMPORTANT UPDATE: DUMFRIES EVENTS IN 2026 AND 2027 We have an important update for our fans in Dumfries & Galloway. Specifically, there will not be a Dumfries Comic Con in 2026. This is due to planned building refurbishments at our usual venue. However, do not be discouraged! We fully hope to return to the town with a massive event in 2027 once the work is complete. While we wait for our return to Dumfries, you can still join the fun at our other locations. Consequently, you should check our to find a show near you. We are touring many other towns across Scotland throughout 2026, and we would love to see our Dumfries fans travel to join us! RELIVE THE 2025 DUMFRIES EXPERIENCE The 2025 event was a major success and our only stop in the town for that year.
