BGCP Returns to Dundee when we take over the D.I.S.C. again, expect a much larger event with traders, props, workshops, gaming and meet and greets with some of our amazing characters such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and more.
The event will have less tickets available to avoid over crowding and we have hired extra space so there will be more room in the hall to see everything on show.
Meet and Greets have now been limited due to the costume team having a strict schedule on the day but we will have more characters as well
Tickets, workshops, meet and greets and merchandise will be available to order soon, merchandise can only be collected at the event.
Workshop times as well as meet and greet schedules will be released the week before the event.
About the Venue
Dundee International Sports Complex (DISC) offers a great variety of indoor and outdoor sporting activities and facilities.
On offer at DISC is a sports hall capable of staging both national and international sporting events, a state of the art fitness studio, a dance studio, gymnasium and both water and sand-based outdoor pitches.
About the BGCP
BGCP Comic Con was started as The Big Glasgow Comic Page back in July 2012 mostly out of boredom and trying to find more Comic Fans to speak to, The Facebook Page gathered likes extremely fast as there wasn’t anything like it at the time and eventually this led to a Comic Book Group, Pub Quizzes, Tournaments and eventually a Comic Book Market.
We organized BGCP Comic Markets for several years until we had outgrown the smaller venues in Glasgow City Centre so set out to run Comic Cons in and out of Glasgow and further over Scotland including St. Enoch Centre, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, East Kilbride, Rutherglen, Loch Lomond, Stirling, Aberdeen and countless more towns and cities.
