BGCP Comic Con returns to Loch Lomond Shores for weekend 1 of the Summer
About BGCP BGCP Comic Con was started as The Big Glasgow Comic Page back in July 2012 mostly out of boredom and trying to find more Comic Fans to speak to, The Facebook Page gathered likes extremely fast as there wasn’t anything like it at the time and eventually this led to a Comic Book Group, Pub Quizzes, Tournaments and eventually a Comic Book Market.
We organized BGCP Comic Markets for several years until we had outgrown the smaller venues in Glasgow City Centre so set out to run Comic Cons in and out of Glasgow and further over Scotland including East Kilbride, Rutherglen, Loch Lomond, Dunoon, Aberdeen and countless more towns and cities.

Loch Lomond Shores is a stunning visitor destination on the edge of Loch Lomond in Balloch. Only 25 minutes from Glasgow, it’s home to beautiful shops, restaurants, the Loch Lomond SEA LIFE Aquarium, water activities, nature walks and events all year round. Offering unrivalled views of Loch Lomond, Loch Lomond Shores is a great place to visit. Do watch our video and read our reviews on TripAdvisor.
Whether you’re looking for big brand names or unique one-off shops, there are a variety of shops to suit all tastes. Jenners, a House of Fraser department store, offers designer fashion brands, beauty, home accessories and the unmissable Valvona & Crolla food hall that offers the very best Scottish products, including smoked salmon and malt whisky. There are also smaller boutique shops that sell a variety of goods and well-known brands.
With numerous places to eat, many with spectacular loch views, rest and enjoy the local fayre. For those that want to experience Loch Lomond and the beautiful countryside surrounding it, bike, pedal boat, segway and canoe hire services are available on the beach. Or for the more adventurous you can hire your own motorboat and visit the many islands on the loch.
Loch Lomond Shores also plays host to great events throughout the year including the busy farmers’ markets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month. There’s always something going on at Loch Lomond Shores so visit the website to see what will be on when you visit!”
