In September 2025, The Blackheart Market descended upon EK, East Kilbride, transforming the Centre West shopping centre into a haven for horror fans, goths, and lovers of the alternative. Running alongside the popular East Kilbride Comic Con, this event brought a darker, edgier vibe to the mall, offering a unique shopping experience that you won’t find on the high street.
A Spooky Shopping Experience
The Blackheart Market isn’t your average craft fair. We curate the best independent traders in Scotland to bring you items that are spooky, strange, and spectacular. The 2025 East Kilbride edition featured:
Horror & Gothic Decor: From handmade skulls and taxidermy art to gothic homeware that turns any house into a haunted mansion.
Alternative Fashion: Vendors selling punk accessories, metal merchandise, and unique clothing for those who dress to express.
Original Art: Prints and canvases from talented local artists featuring movie monsters, cryptids, and dark fantasy scenes.
The Atmosphere: Shoppers were greeted by our signature spooky animatronics and larger-than-life inflatables, making it a perfect photo op for the Halloween season.
The Venue: Centre West, East Kilbride
Located in the heart of East Kilbride (G74 1LL), the Centre West area of the EK shopping centre provided the perfect backdrop for our market.
Accessibility: The venue is fully wheelchair accessible with excellent transport links from Glasgow and beyond.
Free Entry: As always, entry to The Blackheart Market was completely free, allowing everyone to come in and browse the incredible wares on display.
