BGCP returns to the Citadel in Ayr for the fourth Ayr Comic Con, 2022 was our biggest and most attended Ayr event yet so we have been loading up on new costumes, new prop sets and new gaming consoles to bring you the best Ayr Comic Con yet in 2023. Ayr Comic Con will be our only Comic Con in all of Ayrshire going forward so don’t miss out on this fun filled day.
Workshops and Character Meet and Greet times will be released the week before the event

About BGCP
BGCP Comic Con was started as The Big Glasgow Comic Page back in July 2012 mostly out of boredom and trying to find more Comic Fans to speak to, The Facebook Page gathered likes extremely fast as there wasn’t anything like it at the time and eventually this led to a Comic Book Group, Pub Quizzes, Tournaments and eventually a Comic Book Market.
We organized BGCP Comic Markets for several years until we had outgrown the smaller venues in Glasgow City Centre so set out to run Comic Cons in and out of Glasgow and further over Scotland including East Kilbride, Rutherglen, Loch Lomond, Dunoon, Aberdeen and countless more towns and cities.

About the Venue
Enjoy an active day out at Citadel Leisure Centre, situated at the south end of Ayr Beach.
The Citadel Leisure Centre has a swimming pool, diving pool, teaching pool, cafeteria, crèche, dance studio and squash courts.
There is also 5-a-side football, basketball, volleyball, netball, indoor cricket and hockey, badminton and short tennis in the main sports hall. Concerts and exhibitions can also be held in the main hall.
Genesis Gym is part of the leisure centre and is open to the public. It has the latest cardio and resistance training machines and various aerobics classes are run each day. The relaxation area of the gym has two saunas, a steam room, plunge pool and jacuzzi.
There are disabled parking spaces and assistance available from members of staff. There is a ramp at the entrance and ramps and a lift inside. There are two chair lifts to allow access to swimming pools.
