To begin with, let’s look at a little history. BGCP Comic Con was started as The Big Glasgow Comic Page back in July 2012. Originally, it was created mostly out of boredom and a desire to connect with other comic book fans.
However, the Facebook Page gathered likes extremely fast, mainly because there was simply nothing else like it at the time. Eventually, this online community led to a physical Comic Book Group, Pub Quizzes, Tournaments, and ultimately, our first Comic Book Market.
We organized BGCP Comic Markets for several years. But eventually, we outgrew the smaller venues in Glasgow City Centre. Consequently, we set out to run massive Comic Cons all over Scotland. Today, we host events in Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, East Kilbride, Rutherglen, Loch Lomond, Stirling, Aberdeen, and countless other towns and cities.
