Unlike traditional conventions, our “Takeover” events transform the entire shopping centre into a playground for geeks, gamers, and families. We fill the mall with traders, cosplayers, and movie props, creating a unique atmosphere where you can shop for comics while grabbing your weekly groceries. Best of all, entry is completely free (though we appreciate optional donations to help us keep these events running!). What to expect: Venue: The Wellgate Shopping Centre We are located primarily on Level 2 of the centre (near the library entrance), utilizing the open atrium space and empty units for a spacious market experience.
