It has been revealed what platforms Zack Snyder’s four-hour cut of Justice League will stream on in UK.
After several director changes and a terrible performance at the box office, Justice League was left to die by Warner Brothers. However, after unused footage was leaked online, many fans of Snyder wanted his version of the film to be released. This led to one of the most unique film productions ever as fans pushed Warner Brothers to fund the film.
After an enormous campaign to ‘#ReleaseTheSnyderCut’, Warner Brothers announced that the project will be available on streaming service HBO Max. However, many UK fans were left questioning when they would be able to watch Snyder’s Justice League. We now have an answer. As Sky announced that it’ll debut the film on Sky Cinema and Now TV on the 18th of March.
Truly the wait is nearly over for those who have been clamouring for Snyder’s original vision. With new footage and extra effects in the film suggesting it will be an entirely different film than what debuted in 2017.
Snyder’s version will most likely not weave into the future of the DCEU. Although, it’ll still be fascinating to see what he actually intended originally, coming to streaming. Indeed, it is possible that the films that might arise from this project could in a, similar vain to the upcoming Matt Reeves ‘The Batman’, be separate from the main DC line of films.
