House of the Dragon trailer just dropped and it looks Epic!

House of The Dragon is the Game Of Thrones prequel that has been buzzing about in the periphery since Season 8 of GOT ended; in let’s face it, a less than satisfactory manner for the fans.
Written by Ryan J. Condal and GOT author, George R.R. Martin based on his 2018 novel Fire and Blood for HBO.
House of the Dragon is set 200 years prior to the events in GOT. The focus of this story li arc, is on the beginning of the end, for the House of Targaryen. The Trailer gives us some hints of what’s to come. Sweeping and dramatic scenes. A medieval joust, who doesn’t love seeing a joust?! Beautiful costumes and a stellar cast including Matt Smith (Dr Who) as Prince Daemon Targaryen. Paddy Considine ( Hot Fuzz) as King Viserys I Targaryen. Emma D’Arcy (Wanderlust) as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. Rhys Ifans (Harry Potter, Notting Hill, The Amazing Spider-Man) as Ser Otto Hightower.
This has the makings of a superb series. Let’s hope the writing is as dramatic as the Trailer suggests and keeps the fans happier. The release date of the 1st January 2022 can’t come soon enough.
