Is Joey willing to pay with her life to uncover the gruesome secrets behind Crestfall Bluffs? Joey is beyond disturbed by what she has just witnessed and she has every right to be, but when she confides in her boyfriend Astor, his reassurance about his family’s weird rituals and traditions only fuels her suspicions. Still, Joey will need proof in order to expose the truth of Crestfall Bluffs, but what she finds produces more questions and danger than answers!

EAT THE RICH #2 is the chilling second issue from BOOM! Studios. Featuring main cover art by Kevin Tong and variant covers by renowned artists Becca Carey, Kevin Tong and Maria Llovet.

How do you follow up on such a fantastic first issue? Sarah Gailey certainly knows how to. As with the first issue she perfectly captures the class difference between upper and lower and how the lower class workers who are serving the families have resigned themselves to doing anything just to be financially stable. Even if it means their lives! And after the Joey’s discovery at the end of the first issue, we can see how much the horror has set in. But little does she know what lies in store for her.

First off, let me say I’m a sucker for a variant cover. And we have more spectacular variants in this issue. Special mention to Becca Carey, as she has been knocking it out the park with her variant cover work! I really enjoy the artwork from Pius Bak and it’s paired well with the colouring from Roman Titov. Titov’s use of colour throughout being in keeping with the tone of the storyline.

Another great issue and you can just feel the tension building with what Joey has discovered. Sarah Gailey is really setting the tone for this series and I am looking forward to where she goes with future issues. Fans of suspense thrillers will thoroughly enjoy this book and hopefully it’s on your watch list if it isn’t already!
