Previously known characters Nick Fury, (Samuel L. Jackson,) and Talos, (Ben Mendelsohn,) have already been confirmed to appear in the Secret Invasion series, but according to a report from The Illuminerdi, they may be joined by some new faces.
It has been claimed that an inside source has revealed that two new series regulars will appear in the show. One is said to be an older male antagonist and the other is apparently a middle aged woman, “who will share many scenes with Nick Fury.”
The unknown older male antagonist will be between the ages of 50 and 60, whereas the female character will be between 40 and 50 years old. Both roles are unnamed as of yet and no other details have been revealed thus far, but the source did confirm that both characters will be featured as series regulars.

The inside source also mentioned another role in the series, which will be played by a, “younger female actor.” As of the time of writing, this character is also unnamed.
Secret Invasion was originally announced back in December 2020 during Disney’s Investor Day. Kevin Feige has previously stated that, “the intergalactic project is a perfect fit for a television series.”
He went on to say, “We’re interested in the political paranoia aspect of Secret Invasion and really showcasing the stars with Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn, two amazing actors that you want to have in any series and we’re very lucky to have them.”

The series will be based on the comic book crossover event of the same name, which was released between 2008 and 2009 and was written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Leinil Yu. The series saw the Skrulls executing their long-term plan to invade the Earth by replacing the planet’s most powerful and notorious superheroes with their own kind.
At the time of writing, the Secret Invasion series does not yet have a release date set for its premiere on Disney+. However, back in January, the working title for the series was revealed to be Changeup.
