Dumfries Comic Con: 2025 Recap and Important 2027 News Dumfries Comic Con returned for a blockbuster day of fun in 2025! On June 7th, 2025, the became a vibrant hub for the geek community in South West Scotland. Specifically, the event ran from 10 am until 4 pm and was entirely free for the public to enjoy. Consequently, hundreds of families looking for things to do in Dumfries joined us for a day filled with laughter and creativity. IMPORTANT UPDATE: DUMFRIES EVENTS IN 2026 AND 2027 We have an important update for our fans in Dumfries & Galloway. Specifically, there will not be a Dumfries Comic Con in 2026. This is due to planned building refurbishments at our usual venue. However, do not be discouraged! We fully hope to return to the town with a massive event in 2027 once the work is complete. While we wait for our return to Dumfries, you can still join the fun at our other locations. Consequently, you should check our to find a show near you. We are touring many other towns across Scotland throughout 2026, and we would love to see our Dumfries fans travel to join us! RELIVE THE 2025 DUMFRIES EXPERIENCE The 2025 event was a major success and our only stop in the town for that year. Furthermore, the David Keswick Centre provided a fantastic space for fans to gather. We designed the day specifically to offer a high-energy atmosphere for all ages. While many conventions charge for entry, we kept this event free to ensure everyone could celebrate together. As fans wandered through the bustling hall, they discovered a treasure trove of unique items. We saw amazing costumes and met many dedicated collectors from across the region. Moreover, the presence of film props and character meet-and-greets kept the excitement high. Because we focus on community, this event let fans explore local art and rare toys in a friendly environment. TRADERS, COLLECTIBLES, AND ANIME GEAR In this Dumfries Comic Con guide, we want to highlight the amazing variety of stalls that made the 2025 show special. We pick every vendor carefully to ensure you find the best merchandise in Scotland. Specifically, the market featured: Comic Books: Rare back issues and modern graphic novels for every reader. Action Figures: Iconic heroes from Marvel, DC, and the Star Wars universe. Handmade Crafts: Unique art prints, jewelry, and dice sets from local creators.
