‘The Batman’ Has Officially Wrapped Production
‘The Batman’ has officially wrapped production. Director Matt Reeves made the announcement via social media, showing off a clapperboard from the upcoming film.
The director showed off a production slate in a box with other items that are sure to be dissected by keen eyed fans looking for any more clues about the highly anticipated film.
‘The Batman’ was delayed twice from an original June 2021 release date due to the coronavirus pandemic. Production being wrapped is a happy sight for fans excited for the film.
In early September last year, ‘The Batman’ shut down production in London. Warner Bros. stated that a member of the production had contracted the coronavirus. Various outlets reported that star Robert Pattinson had been diagnosed with COVID-19, though the studio declined to comment on who had tested positive. Production then resumed later in the month.

The post by Reeves has already caused a stir online with many fans already theorising what it could mean. A prevelant fan theory at the moment is that the “Just For You” cards might be connected to the iconic ‘The Long Halloween storyline’. Which explored Batman’s hunt for a holiday-themed killer.
Another theory is that the cards are connected to the Batman villain the Madhatter. Who might serve as a secondary villain to Paul Dano’s the Riddler.
The Batman stars Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler. Colin Farrell as the Penguin, John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone. Andy Serkis as Alfred and Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham City District Attorney Gil Colson.
