Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Reveal In May?

Jedi: Fallen Order 2

What Was Said

Star Wars Celebration 2022 is set to take place from the 26th to the 29th of May this year. According to Jeff Grubb, it is at this celebration event that we will get the official reveal of Jedi: Fallen Order 2.

Whilst we have known for a while that a sequel to Star Wars – Jedi: Fallen Order is in development, this is the first time we have been given a date for a in-depth look, which could potentially include gameplay. Speculation was previously rife that a deeper look at the sequel would either appear during E3 2022, or at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim and it will allegedly be the latter.

This date makes a lot of sense, given that Star Wars Celebration is an event solely dedicated to all things Star Wars and it will fall five months after EA officially announced the game back in January of this year.

Who Is Jeff Grubb?

Jeff Grubb is a gaming journalist mostly known for working with GamesBeat. On the latest episode of their podcast, GamesBeat Decides, Grubb gave us the information regarding Fallen Order 2. In the same episode, he also discussed the fairly concerning revelations regarding Ori developers Moon Studios. If you are interested in watching the podcast episode, we have embedded the YouTube video below.

“We’re [going to] hear about that in May at Star Wars Celebration. It’s when it’s coming so keep an eye out for that because that’s where it’s happening. I can’t remember, I feel like I’ve talked about [the Fallen Order 2 release date] before and now I can’t remember what I said. Surely, I think it’s probably not this year, probably early next year. There are so many EA games. Because Dragon Age 4 is 18 months away, Dead Space [Remake] was almost later this year, but then they moved and they confirmed that now that’s early 2013, so Jedi Fallen Order 2 later this year could almost make sense.”

What Do You Think?

As always with situations such as these, we should take the quote above with a pinch of salt, at least until the game’s appearance at Star Wars celebration is officially confirmed.

What do you make of Grubb’s statement? Are you looking forward to getting a proper look at Jedi: Fallen Order 2? Do you think that we will see it in May? Let us know in the comments section down below.
