New TV Spots for Mortal Kombat
Last month BGCP wrote a news article on Mortal Kombat’s red band trailer, which managed to surpass juggernauts Logan and Deadpool 2 in its viewership. Well, prepare to be excited once more as Warner Bros. have released a number of TV spots of the new movie.
Set for release in April on HBO Max and theatres, Mortal Kombat has been in the works for years. WB starting working on it after the release of the short film Mortal Kombat: Rebirth garnered insane amounts of attention. Based on the classic fighting video game of the same name created by Ed Boon and John Tobias, this brutal R-rated film is chock full of violence and impressive fight VFX, which is sure to delight hardcore fans of the franchise. Myself included.
