Leak: Cyberpunk 2077 DLC

Leak: Cyberpunk 2077 DLC

Upcoming DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 has been leaked on the Epic Games Store, meaning that Night City could be about to open up even more following the chunky 1.2 patch update that dropped yesterday.

According to the leaks, the upcoming free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 will comprise nine pieces of content. This news should be taken with a fair-sized pinch of salt, as all of this is according to a Redditor that came across the DLC rollout plan via the Epic Games Store’s recently added content.

Using the development end of the Epic Games storefront, user PricklyAssassin was able to uncover a series of names for each piece of DLC. These will most likely available down the line as free downloads in a similar fashion to how The Witcher 3’s post-launch support was rolled out.

If the leaks are to be believed, here is what is expected to be on the way for Cyberpunk players over the next few months:

Ripperdocs Expansion

Body Shops Expansion

Fashion Forward Expansion

Gangs of Night City

Body of Chrome

Rides of the Dark Future

The Relic

Neck Deep

Night City Expansion

As well as the DLC items listed above, it looks like will be a paid expansion pass coming at some point, priced at $14.99. This paid content is probably going to be the Cyberpunk equivalent of The Witcher’s ‘Hearts of Stone’ and ‘Blood and Wine’ expansions. These were two bigger pieces of DLC that contained new story content for the base game.

While there is no way of knowing what exactly the free upcoming content will entail, a fair amount of it will most likely revolve around fixing elements of the notoriously broken game in response to the backlash that CD Projeckt Red received after releasing Cyberpunk in its unfinished state.

Personally, I am hoping that the Fashion Forward piece of DLC will make the character’s in-game wardrobe less ugly and garish. It seems that I am not the only person that is annoyed at the fact that you have to wear some truly ugly gear if you want to play with the best stats possible.

I am also holding out hope that the Ripperdocs Expansion will flesh out the body-upgrade portion of the game that is pretty threadbare in its current state compared to what a lot of players expected.

We will have a review coming for Cyberpunk 2077 very soon, so please stay tuned for that.
