New Spider-Man No Way Home Images Leak!
Another week and another Spider-Man leak. Just last week, images leaked from an upcoming feature in Empire Magazine which confirmed that the Lizard and Sandman will indeed be returning in the upcoming film. Now, (just a day after the film’s official poster was revealed,) John Campea has leaked two images from the new movie, which confirm two major rumoured plot aspects in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The images can be seen in the Tweet below.
The first image shows the three respective version of Spider-Man, standing together on what looks like scaffolding. This is the first time that a legitimate image of Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire has emerged. The three webheads are standing, holding their masks with water in the background, looking at something right of the frame.
Interestingly, all three of them are wearing the same costumes from their previous movies respectively, so it doesn’t look like MCU Spidey has gotten another upgrade since we last saw him in Far From Home. Tom Holland also has some small cuts on his face, which line up with an image shown in Empire Magazine.
The second image gives us confirmation that Charlie Cox will indeed reprise his role as Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home. It shows Matt Murdock, sporting a shorter haircut, sitting at the table in Aunt May’s apartment table with Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Marisa Tomei as May Parker and Tom Holland as Peter.
It looks as though Happy may have brought in Matt to defend Peter during his inevitable upcoming trial in the murder of Mysterio. It has also been previously rumoured that Matt Murdock will also appear in the upcoming She-Hulk series on Disney+.
Another internet rumour suggests that the second Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer could drop along with the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife next week. If this is in fact the case, these two leaked images could be from that upcoming trailer.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to release on the 17th of December and is directed by Jon Watts. The film will Star the actors mentioned above, along with Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx as Electro.
The official synopsis for the movie reads: “For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighbourhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”
