Spider-Man: No Way Home Details Leak!
In the piece that I wrote analysing the first Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, I speculated that a few of the frames possibly showed off the fact that The Lizard and Sandman would appear in this movie. That theory has now been confirmed due to images of an upcoming feature on Spider-Man: Far From Home in next month’s Empire Magazine that have leaked. Check out the images for yourself down below.
One of the leaked images even names the actors who played the Lizard and Sandman, confirming that Thomas Hayden-Church and Rhys Ifans will indeed be returning to play the respective villains.
In another of the leaked images, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are also named. Although the section that they are named in seems to be discussing the online rumours that have perpetuated in recent months regarding the alternate webheads.
That said, at the top of that same paragraph where Garfield and Maguire are named, Bruce Campbell’s characters from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy are clearly being discussed. This doesn’t seem to be as speculatory as the following section mentioning multiple Spideys. Could this mean that Bruce Campbell could make a glorious return to the Spider-Man universe? I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to that idea.
The main takeaway from these images is clearly the fact that the Lizard and Sandman are confirmed to be making their reappearance in Far From Home. We are due to get the second trailer for the new Spidey film in a few weeks time, hopefully we will get a clearer look at the infamous Spider-Man rogues then. What do you make of this latest leak? Are you excited to have confirmation that the Lizard and Sandman will be in the movie? Let us know down in the comments below.
